diy orange garland

We like to think that baking is the ultimate air freshener – you can fill your home with sweet scents, and have your cake, too. While this DIY garland isn’t meant to be eaten, it does involve cranking up the oven to dry out some orange slices. And once you’re done with that, it’s as simple as threading them all onto a line and hanging up your finished garland wherever you please. (It’ll work especially well in a little courtyard, dangling from the ceiling, or draped on the mantle.) The end product will keep your place smelling nice long after you’ve polished off the last slice of cake. Pretty nifty, don’t you think?
