Free Braided Quilted Table Runner Pattern
There is something intriguing about scrap fabric projects. Maybe it is the way a maker takes various fabrics that may not be designed to go together, and turns them into something magical. This is what I think of with this quilted table runner pattern from Samelia’s Mum.
Along with some other fabric pieces, Anorina used 2.5″ strips for her runner, making it ideal for a jelly roll. Other than that, she used standard quilting supplies and finished it off with some hand quilting. One of the nice things about this project is that it is easy to make as long or as short as you prefer.
Just think of all of the pretty color combinations this could be made in. Greens and reds would make a lovely Christmas runner and pastels would make any Easter table that much more festive. In fact, there are a couple of versions of this pattern on the website.
