Improv Cross Quilt Block Pattern
Looking for an easy and fun quilt block that doesn’t require you to figure out complicated measurements? This liberated cross block from Lollyquiltz might interest you.
It is an improv block made with two fabrics. That’s it! And it is definitely liberating. Hardly any measuring is needed so no two are the same.
The only measuring is when you square up your block to the desired size. This is my kind of block,
In the tutorial you will find step by step instructions and photos to guide you through the quilt block making process. I love all of the solids that the author used in her blocks, but you could easily use what ever fabrics you want to. Scrap buster alert…this would be a quick and easy way to use up some of those scraps you don’t know what to do with.
You can find this fun and freeform quilt block tutorial here: Liberated Cross Block
