American Flag Quilted Pillow – Free Pattern
It’s Flag Day here in the United States, and what better way to celebrate the flag than by putting it on display. This festive quilted throw pillow from Cluck Cluck Sew is easy to make and looks great any time of the year!
The scrappy flag block itself measures 11″ x 16″ finished so you will need a bit of extra fabric to make it large enough for a 16″ pillow form.
Along with standard quilting supplies, you will need plenty of red, white, and blue scraps to make your block.
The instructions in this post are for the flag quilt block only, but if you have some experience you can easily make it into a throw pillow.
I don’t know about other people, but around Memorial Day is when my more patriotic home décor gets displayed, and it is in the house throughout the summer. Let’s face it, there are a lot of red, white, and blue holidays in our summer months.
