Autumn Leaves Free Quilt Pattern
I don’t know about you, but I am always looking for a fall scrap quilt pattern, and nothing says autumn more than the colorful foliage. The area where I live comes alive with all kinds of fall colors. Except for the fact that I have to rake all of those beautiful leaves, it’s my favorite time of the year.
This gorgeous free quilt pattern from Robert Kaufman Fabrics highlights the beauty of the season.
Designed to spotlight one of their lovely fabric lines, the maple leaf blocks are ideal for showing off your favorite fall fabrics. To me the pattern resembles fallen leaves scattered across the ground. The inner and outer borders show off the central leaf pattern nicely. There is also plenty of open space to show off some quilting skills. Machine quilters could do so much with this quilt.
The finished quilt measures 76 1/2″ X 87″ and detailed instructions for assembling the leaf blocks, and the entire quilt, are provided. There are even specific fabric suggestions to help you out.
Whether you like using scraps you have on hand, or a curated bundle of fabric, this free intermediate level “Autumn Falls” quilt pattern from Robert Kaufman Fabrics is a must-see.
