Crown Paper Pieced Quilt Block Pattern
Here is a fun paper pieced quilt block from JoeJuneandMae. It’s a crown, and a beautiful one at that. If you have ever gotten one of their patterns, you will know how nice they are.
This crown is incredibly detailed and would look lovely on its own, or in a quilt filled with castles, dragons and knights.
The digital pattern can be purchased over on Etsy. Directions are provided for an 8″ and a 10″ block. The pattern also includes a coloring page and numbered sections for piecing. As indicated, you need to be familiar with foundation paper piecing, and on the listing you will find a link to a tutorial to help you out with the method. The directions are in english and in german.
This block is part of her “Once Upon a Time” theme which has 12 blocks in it.
How pretty would this be hung in a nursery, or incorporated into a special quilt for a princess party gift?
