Free Cinco De Mayo Quilt Block Pattern
Ready to spice things up for Cinco de Mayo? You can with this easy and fun quilt block from Quilter by Design.
This design is essentially the economy block, but with a bit of twist on the larger inset square. I have never seen a split background like she does in that square. I think I’m going to have to give that a try. I love that hot chili pepper fabric she used for her center square. What fun!
You will find helpful instruction on cutting that striped fabric in the right way so the stripes are all going the same way.
This block is a great example of how fabric and colors can change up the feel of a traditional quilt block.
