Free Pinwheels and Patchwork Christmas Quilt Pattern
I think that the thing that stood out to me right away on this Christmas quilt from Andy over on A Bright Corner, was the black sashing. It is not normally a color that I associate with the holidays, but oh boy does it work with this quilt and these fabrics.
This free pattern can be downloaded from the article. Because of some of the shapes, it may not be ideal for an absolute beginner, but if you have some experience you may want to give it a try.
The finished quilt measures about 60″ x 69″, so it is a nice lap size. It would be nice to cuddle up under during the holidays. The beauty of this pattern is that it is not just for the holidays. Change up the colors and it works for any occasion.
