Free Ray of Sunshine Benartex Quilt Pattern

Check out this stunning quilt pattern by Benartex Fabrics.  It’s just gorgeous and the stars really pop against that white background.

The finished quilt, which measures about 68″ x 92″ when finished, is shown in fabrics from their Sun Burst line.  Can I just say wow!  It’s a simple design but it really packs a punch.

This would be an ideal quilt for scraps if you have a lot of them.

What really works for me in this pattern is the secondary design achieved by having no sashing between the sawtooth star blocks.  My eye is drawn to the strips instead of the star.  Also, some of the stars almost look like flowers in the yellow/orange version.
