Starry Paper Pieced Quilt Block – Free Pattern
Calling all paper piecers! This beautiful and free quilt block pattern from Wombat Quilts is for you. This is such a dynamic quilt block and the secondary design it gives really makes it pop.
In this tutorial you will find the template for the block and a few tips. It is surprisingly simple. It’s also slightly deceiving (in a good way). When I first saw this photo I thought that it was the block. However, if you take a look at the template you will see that it is actually made up of four of the blocks. What a great design and what a great way to use up some fabric scraps.
While you can make your block in any color combination imaginable, I really like the bright jewel tones that the designer set against the black and white background fabrics.
If you like paper piecing, then this quilt block is one you will want to take a look at.
