Tilda Fabrics Buttercup Free Quilt Pattern
This free quilt pattern from the Fat Quarter Shop and Tilda Fabrics is for all of you scrap quilters out there. Raise your hand if you know what I mean! Isn’t that the only kind of quilting there is (just kidding)? Seriously, though, this is such a happy quilt and is a perfect way to show off your fabric collection.
Measuring 56 1/2 x 74 1/2 when finished, it is made up of 34 different fabrics. Yes, you read that right. With the exception of the background fabric, you don’t need much for each flower so it really is a perfect pattern to highlight your favorite fabrics from your stash.
It will definitely take some organization and it really isn’t a pattern for a complete beginner. You will need standard quilting supplies and a 1/4 inch seam allowance is used throughout.
This quilt just makes me want to run down to my sewing machine and make it. I’m hoping people will like it as much as I do. The best part of the whole thing is that it is a free pattern. You can’t beat that.
