Free Heart Baby Quilt Pattern
Designed by Connie Kresin, this beautiful baby quilt is not too difficult to make. Not only would it look good in a baby’s room, it would be a lovely gift for Valentine’s Day.
Measuring 25″ x 32″ it’s a small quilt that should not take too much time to make. It is also a great scrap buster.
You will need about 3/4 yard of background fabric, 4 – 5 fat quarters for the hearts, and one yard for the backing. Connie uses batiks which give the quilt such rich and saturated colors.
Along with step by step photos, you will find detailed cutting and piecing instructions. And if you prefer to make something smaller, there are even tips to make a table runner instead.
Because of its size, you can whip this festive quilt up in no time. What a lovely gift this would be for an expectant mother. It would also make a special gift for someone on Valentine’s Day. Of course, you can always make it for yourself.
