Fish Quilt Block Tutorial
Something fishy is going on around here! Well not really, it’s just this whimsical Kettle of Fish quilt block from Quilt Therapy. This design just makes me smile.
The tutorial includes measurements for a 12 inch finished block. The block does have a lot of small pieces to it, but if you look closely, it is not that difficult to assemble. I would not suggest this block to a beginner however. I will tell you right now that there are a lot of half square triangles in this one, but if they are one of your favorites then you should not have any problems.
Make sure to take a look at the designer’s lay out for an entire quilt. It looks like individual fish swimming among schools of them. It is a lot of fun and would look great done in some bright tropical colors.
Get ready to go on a trip to the beach or lake with this charming quilt block design. You can find it here: Kettle of Fish Quilt Block
