Hexagon Quilt Tutorial and Free Pattern
With a quick switch of fabric, one can easily change up the look of this stunning hexagon quilt by Polka Dot Chair. Quilts made from one shape are always so eye-catching, and this one is no exception.
This one is loaded with Halloween prints and is so much fun and perfect for fussy cutting fabric. The tutorial has all of the information you will need to make it.
There is also a section dedicated to how the designer made her hexagons. It is a great method if you don’t have a hexagon template, and it makes easier work of them. Hint here…she has a method that does not require set-in (y) seams. Woohoo! Those are definitely not my favorite.
The finished quilt measures about 40″ x 60″ and the hexagons are larger than most.
