Four Patch Heart – Free Scrappy Quilt Pattern
This easy four patch heart quilt pattern from Carterquilter is about as scrappy as it gets. It’s also pretty festive for Valentine’s Day.
This is a free pattern and comes in five sizes, so you are sure to find just the right one that you will need. It is an easy quilt pattern so it would be good for beginners with a bit of experience. Each heart block consists of 7 pieces. No special tools are needed to make this beauty. The downloadable pattern also contains detailed instructions and diagrams to help you make the blocks and then put them together.
As a scrap quilter, I think the best part about making this pattern would be searching though all of my scraps for the fabric. That is always my favorite part of making a quilt. There are a few different versions shown in the blog post so you can get an idea of what the quilt would look like with various fabrics.
