Hugs and Kisses Valentine’s Day Pillow Tutorial
One can never have too many hugs and kisses on Valentine’s Day right? Well you can have hugs and kisses all year ’round with this festive pillow from A Quilting Life.
The finished pillow measures about 16 1/2″ by 16 1/2″. The individual blocks all measure 6 1/2″ x 6 1/2″, so they could easily be used in a different pattern if you did not want to make a pillow with them.
There are detailed cutting and sewing instructions in this tutorial. While you can use your preferred method for finishing your pillow, there are instructions for making an envelope style back.
Not much fabric is required for each block, but because it is a quilted pillow top you will need some batting and muslin to back it. A quilted throw pillow has that nice feel to it. It’s like an extra layer of padding that makes it that much more cozy.
Make a couple of matching pillows and step up your holiday décor with this pattern.
