How to Machine Quilt Poppies
Learn how to do this stunning machine quilting design from Lori Kennedy Quilts. These poppies are beautiful and would make a lovely design on your favorite quilt.
As with all of her wonderful tutorials, Lori not only provides step-by-step written instructions, but she includes detailed photos of each step. As a visual learner I find that extremely helpful. It is also good, because this is the type of skill that needs to be seen when learning.
At the end of the tutorial, Lori describes the materials she used for her photos. However, you can make your poppies with the thread you prefer. It’s just nice to know what the experts use.
This is not a pattern for a beginner machine quilter. You will want to have some experience under your belt before you give this a try. However, just look at the design. It catches the eye.
