Mini Rainbow Star Quilt – Free Pattern
Boy does this rainbow star mini quilt from The Crafty Mummy pack a punch! It’s absolutely stunning, and the best news is that it isn’t too hard to make. Rainbow colors always make such lovely quilts.
The designer uses a jelly roll and a template for her quilt, although you can make the half square triangles in a different method if you don’t have the triangle template. The entire quilt measures about 28″ x 28″, so it is definitely a mini.
To make it you will need standard quilting supplies. You will also need fabric for the top and back, as well as batting.
The tutorial is divided into two blog posts, but it is easy to follow along. One thing that is particularly helpful is that there is a list showing how many triangles are needed for each color.
