Spiral Quilting on a Machine Tutorial
Sometimes a quilt calls out for a spiral quilting design, but that is not the easiest machine quilting to do. However, no worries because Leslie over on The Seasoned Homemaker is here to help.
Her detailed tutorial on how to machine quilt a spiral design is extremely helpful. From how to sketch out the design to which foot to use, she has it all covered.
There are examples on how to start your spiral and how to finish it off. One thing she points out is to practice, and that is an important tip.
I have a very bad habit of just jumping into a new technique and not practicing. If I did that with a spiral, I just know that mine would look more like meandering lines. With this tutorial, I would feel more comfortable trying out this new skill.
