Crown and Thorns Quilt Block Tutorial
With four sizes offered, this free Crown and Thorns quilt block pattern is brought to you by Generations Quilt Patterns. This is a traditional quilt block found in many historical quilts. It can also be called the Memory Wreath or Georgetown Circle quilt block. While it has many triangles, it is not a difficult one to sew together.
The block is suitable for a confident beginner and detailed instructions are provided. You will find a chart showing the fabric needed and cutting instructions for a 5″, 7 1/2″, 10″ and 15″ block.
