How to Make a Striped Triangle Quilt
This article goes out to all of you scrap quilters. You know who you are, and I proudly consider myself to be included in that group. Darcy Quilts shows us how to turn some of those beautiful small pieces of fabric into a striped triangle quilt.
Quilts like these are feasts for the eyes. Everywhere you look you see a different fabric. I know that when I look at my scrap quilts I can see a fabric and remember what other quilts I used it in. Maybe that is why scrap quilts appeal to me so much. They bring back memories.
Darcy’s easy method turns strips into something striking. They look almost three dimensional with they way the triangles are placed. Best of all, there are two different methods for getting those striped triangles. The first being with scraps and the second with strips. There are also step by step photos to help guide you along.
I don’t know about you, but I am inspired to dig into my scrap bins and start making a quilt like this.
