How to Make Quilted Initials
Are you ready for a fun and easy scrap fabric project that it totally unique? If you said yes, then you are ready to make some of these cute quilted initials from Skip to my Lou. The author turns them into ornaments, but they could easily be turned into little charm gifts for someone, or added to a quilt top for some extra interest and dimension.
You don’t need many supplies for these, just scrap fabric, fabric for the back, and fusible batting. If you plan on turning them into ornaments you will need some ribbon too.
Using letter templates that you create, you determine the shape and size of your letter.
The entire process is outlined thoroughly and there are step by step photos as well.
If you are looking for a fun and unique scarp buster then this is an idea you will want to look at. You could make an entire family tree filled with everyone’s initials if you wanted to.
