Making an extra strong camera strap.
Making an extra strong camera strap.
Ever felt your camera strap isnt strong enough, for all the use you give it?!
This method should only take you an hour.
1, Choose a heavy duty fabric, perhaps from some old curtains.you no longer require.
2,Then go ahead and cut the current strap from your camera with some scissors.
3, Measure the length of strap you would like, to work comfortably in any situation.
4, Choose a width of at least 4 inches.
5, Cut the width and length to your desired size.
6, Then fold the strap to sides in then turn again making the strap very thick.
7, Sew up the strap now, You can hand sew if you like.
Sew the strap back into the original attached strap.
if using a machine a twin needle would work well, or if you have a walking foot these work really well
going through thick layers of fabric.
8, Attach the strap to the same ends that the original strap had.
This is a much safer way to use your camera, ensuring it doesn’t get damaged on a weak strap.
